About Us

The Rotary Club of Harris County was chartered on October 22, 1999, with 21 original members. Our Club is 35 members today; 24 of whom are Paul Harris Fellows. Two of those are Multiple Paul Harris Fellows. The Club has received the Presidential Citation and Governor’s Award every year since. The Club is dedicated to fulfilling the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self". Attending meetings is expected and missed meetings require a make-up by visiting another Club or doing an online make-up. Members also work on our service projects. New members work as greeters and to open meetings for at least a month.
